Group Work
Today was intense! In the morning group session, we worked together as a team on the marketing section of the document. It was a challenge because we needed to be a clear about our idea and have the marketing and finance section complete for the meetings in the afternoon. It was tough writing the document in one day. Working together and having conversations made it easier. By the end of the day we were zombies and looking forward to getting some dinner and eating. What I took from this day is that when everyone works together as a team and communicates, they can achieve anything. Like finalize a business idea and write a business plan in one day.
In conclusion, this was an intense week where you had to adapt quickly to living arrangements, meeting new people, working in a team with different nationalities and areas of study. It was incredible learning a bit of knowledge from multiple lectures on business, entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity. It took me a week to recover from this trip but I am grateful for the opportunity. My eyes have been opened to the possibility of developing my own company in the creative industry. This semester the word entrepreneurship has made an appearance many times. I believe in seizing opportunities and I feel as though the universe is sending me signs. One thing I know for sure is that I’ve made so many international friends that I will stay in with over the years.
